For the last 3 seasons American cycling fans have been wondering one thing when it comes to Sepp Kuss; When will Sepp get a shot at GC? The time may be here, but as a reserve behind Primoz Roglic. As we all know modern cycling has forced professional cycling teams to always have more than one option when it comes to the grand tours, and sponsorship relays heavily on the results at these big races. At the Tour de France we saw Jumbo Vismas, Jonas Vingegaard take on the leadership roll in spectacular fashion as their race leader Primoz Roglic was forced to abandon due to crashes. On yesterday’s opening stage of la Vuelta Espana Sepp Kuss put up his best time trial performance ever, finishing 12th on the stage jut 15 seconds off the winning pace of his team mate Primoz Roglic.
