Swiss breakaway specialist earn his spot with determination and hard work, now joins the Trek-Segafredo.

Trek-Segafredo hires Simon Pellaud specialist in the breakaway and who has shown a great level in the last Giro de Italia.
Simon, current Team Androni-Sidermec rider, lives in Medellin, a city which made him fall in love at first sight. Simon trains in the mountains of the city of eternal spring, mountains that have made famous people like Santiago Botero, Rigoberto Uran, among others.
The Swiss will be an excellent addition to the team, which his role as gregario and specialist in the breakaway adapts well to the objectives of the squad next year. It won’t take long for us to see Simon be the center of attention in the stages of a grand tour, only this time with different colours.
