7 Bora-Hansgrohe Riders were hit by a car while riding at the teams training camp in Italy.
We’ve been informed that 7 riders of the Bora-Hansgrohe team were involved in an accident on the road with a car. Wilco Kelderman, Rüdiger Selig, and Andreas Schillinger were taken to the hospital. Later we learned that Wilco had sustained a concussion and a fractured vertebrae. Andreas sustained a broken vertebrae int he cervical and thoracic spine. Rudi, also sustained a concussion.
There has been no further information released on the team as to what caused the incident, and if any charges will be laid.
